Job Summary:
Join our team as a Dishwasher and contribute to the smooth operation of our kitchen. You will need to be able to independently commute to our location in Parkdale, OR. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our kitchen. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. A meal is included with every shift. We can ensure that you'll eat as well as our wedding guests. This is a great opportunity for friends to apply and work together over the summer and into early fall.
Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans
- Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in designated storage areas
- Remove trash and recycling
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well within a team
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
